Da Vinci Inspired Escape Room Coming to Buckingham Palace

The Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace is being transformed into a Leonardo Da Vinci themed escape room. You and your team of up to eight people now have the chance to escape for only £18.75 per person!

“Leonardo Artmergency!” has been launched to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the famed genius’ death – alongside an exhibition of his most famous work. The contents of the escape room have been kept under wraps to avoid spoiling any surprises that may be hidden within the room.

The main difference between this and a typical escape room is players won’t be locked into a confined space. Instead, padlocked chests will located throughout and will need to be unlocked in order to advance through the narrative.

Matthew Morgan, producer for the Royal Collection Trust – the organisation behind the experience – said, “you can spend an hour, have a great time, and come out thinking ‘oh I never knew that about Leonardo’”.

This fantastic experience is available every Friday and Saturday until the 5th of October later this year. All proceeds will go to the Royal Collection Trust charity, which aims to preserve Royal Collection’s priceless artwork.
