A Tallahassee based escape room company has set up a $2000 treasure hunt in 24-acre Cascades Park.

Breakout Games, found in Tallahassee, Florida, specialises in your typical escape room experience - where players must ‘escape’ from a themed room.

The company, however, decided to transcend its on-site location and take to the park; and all you need is a smartphone with Internet access and map.

For three hours players will roam the park with a chance to find $100 every 30 minutes – eventually totalling $2000.

In order to find the prize, Breakout Games will update coordinates in 30-minute intervals, players will then have to find clues and work together to find the cash.

Marketing director Cassie Dilly said, “There’s a little mystery or problem solving involved. You’ll have to search for it.”
