Breakout Games, a national chain of escape rooms, has organised a citywide treasure hunt. The treasure hunts will take place in 27 cities this summer, with one coming to Richmond, Virginia.

You and your friends have the chance to find up to $2000 cash on Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm. Breakout games will release coordinates in 30 minute intervals on their website. These coordinates will lead to $100 bills, which are hidden in secret locations around Richmond.

If you’re out and about in the city between 11 am to 1 pm and come across people surrounded by red balloons, these are the company’s game masters. They’ll be spreading the word to hype up the treasure hunt. Talk to them for more information!

The good news is that the treasure hunt is free and open to the public! All you need to do is visit www.breakoutgames.com/richmond at the given time and check every 30 minutes for the coordinates.
